Turkey Mushroom Burgers with Sue’s Fig Balsamic Glaze
INGREDIENTS

2 large portobello mushrooms, cleaned and chopped to small dice

1 lb ground turkey

1 clove minced garlic
-
1 Tbsp low sodium soy sauce

1 Tbsp bread crumbs

¼ tsp kosher salt
-
¼ tsp pepper
-
1 Tbsp vegetable oil
-
4 slices Pepper Jack Cheese (optional)

4 toasted whole grain buns
-
2 Tbsp Sue’s Fig Balsamic Glaze

Favorite toppings: lettuce, tomato, avocado, red onion
DIRECTIONS

Gently mix together mushrooms, turkey, garlic, soy sauce, bread crumbs, salt and pepper.

Form into four patties
-
Heat 1 Tbsp oil in a large nonstick skillet over medium high heat. Add the patties and cook until brown approx. 4 minutes per side to internal temp of 165 degrees. Cover and add Pepper Jack cheese to melt. Add Fig Balsamic Glaze and cook for 1 minute.

Add toppings and additional Fig Glaze as desired.
