Turkey Mushroom Burgers with Sue’s Fig Balsamic Glaze



  • 2 large portobello mushrooms, cleaned and chopped to small dice

  • 1 lb ground turkey

  • 1 clove minced garlic

  • 1 Tbsp low sodium soy sauce

  • 1 Tbsp bread crumbs

  • ¼ tsp kosher salt

  • ¼ tsp pepper

  • 1 Tbsp vegetable oil

  • 4 slices Pepper Jack Cheese (optional)

  • 4 toasted whole grain buns

  • 2 Tbsp Sue’s Fig Balsamic Glaze

  • Favorite toppings: lettuce, tomato, avocado, red onion



  1. Gently mix together mushrooms, turkey, garlic, soy sauce, bread crumbs, salt and pepper.

  2. Form into four patties

  3. Heat 1 Tbsp oil in a large nonstick skillet over medium high heat. Add the patties and cook until brown approx. 4 minutes per side to internal temp of 165 degrees. Cover and add Pepper Jack cheese to melt. Add Fig Balsamic Glaze and cook for 1 minute.

  4. Add toppings and additional Fig Glaze as desired.
